There’s free wifi in many places in Gozo, where I live at different times in the year. My favourite spot is the new Clock House cafe in Victoria. Wifi is free and fast, coffee is great and the guys and gals there are quick to help out with any tech issues too… Love my iPad but hopeless with technology….

Hi all,everyone mentions free wi-fi in Malta but nobody mentions the danger it brings especially when using personal information like banking or shopping online, when I use any free wi-fi, first I’ll make sure I use a proxy server like TOR for surfing anonymous and be safe. happy surfing

I love taking a coffee and browsing my iPad…Free WIFI is a dream. My fav spot is Cafe Porto in St Julians and The Clock House in Victoria, Gozo. Both are free to use and the coffee is fab!

Thanks for that info, will take a look at the places you have suggested. I kind of just didn’t want to be spending a lot of time in Macdonalds or hotel lobbies using the wifi(although I dont really mind cafes, I don’t know if the owners would be happy with me spending hours Wifing it for research) but if it comes down to that then I may have to. Thanks for the expat link, will check that out.
